Tools for Die Casting

Our tool solutions for die casting are produced primarily by high-speed milling on our 3 - and 5-axis CNC machines to minimize manual finishing. To ensure short lead times and very competitive prices, a number of standard parts are used in the finished tool.

Idé-Pro produces tools for die casting weighing up to 6,000 kg per tool part. Our experience with complex tool manufacture is equally strong whether you need a tool made from steel or aluminium.

Die Casting Moulds

Idé-Pro is a flexible partner in the production of tools for die casting. We offer:
 

• Mould dimensions: Up to 1,000 tons clamping pressure and 6-8 tons total weight
• Test runs of tools on our die casting machines - up to 600 tons clamping force
• Custom design and part modelling in CATIA V5
• Machining of parts in our own modern high-tech production facility
• Curing will be done following the steel supplier's instructions
• Parts in the tool are standardized dimensions relative to HASCO, Uddeholm etc.
   

Delivery time

Delivery time for die casting tools is 4 -10 working weeks from the receipt of finished 3D material. With a capacity of 10-12 tools a week we can fulfil most requests. If you have other requirements please contact us.

Die casting - did you know?

The lowest tool price doesn't necessarily give you the lowest product price. There is no reason to pay for a tool that can run 500,000 shots if the product lifetime is only 10,000 shots, or vice versa. We do not just find the cheapest option, but the solution for your tool needs that will give you the best overall value.
