Idé-Pro invests in major expansion of its light metals department
Idé-Pro is expanding the capacity of its light metals department with new die casting and finishing machines.
To meet the increasing demand for casting and finishing of light metal technical components, we have invested in a number of new machines. Coming installations at our Skive factory include Denmark's largest die casting machine, a hot chamber die casting machine for zinc, a machining center and a shot blasting machine.

Machinery
We have just purchased an Italpresse TF 1350 that can cast items of up to 21.8 kg, which will be the largest die-casting machine in Denmark. With this, we expect to undertake some very exciting projects, both with current and future customers.
A 125T hot chamber die casting machine for zinc has also been purchased, able to cast items of up 3.4kg. As our own tool factory is on the same site, we shall be able to go from the 3D file to tool manufacturing and ready-cast zinc components in just a few days.
For finishing work, we have invested in a Makino A61nx, one of the fastest and most precise machining centers on the market, as well as an RHBE11/16-L, a shot blasting machine for unbeatable and uniform surface treatment of components.
In order to manufacture at high efficiency 24/7, a wide range of robots have also been purchased to help with automation. All machines will be installed in Skive within the next couple of months.
