Idé-Pro is taking part in the international Carbon Disclosure Project
With the increasing focus on CO2 emissions and energy consumption, we are providing customers and decision-makers greater insight into our activities.
Idé-Pro joined the CDP (the Carbon Disclosure Project), which is an international project where companies, cities, states, and regions report their own CO2 emissions and energy consumption to a global database.
The CDP represents the most extensive collection of self-reported environmental data in the world. Decision-makers such as politicians can use the data to make informed decisions in order to build a more sustainable economy.
Data-based energy management
At Idé-Pro, we use data-based energy management. Our energy optimisation work over the years has allowed us to create a detailed data basis that was relatively easy to process and report to the CDP.
When we compare our current energy consumption with that of 2017, for example, we see it has increased 10% overall. However, seen in relation to an increase in turnover of roughly 40%, we have managed to come in far below index 100. In simple terms, this means we consume less energy producing technical items than we did in 2017.
Increasing focus on environmental responsibility
In recent years, there has been increasing focus on CO2 emissions and energy consumption - a trend that is sure to continue. At Idé-Pro, we regard customers and decision-makers gaining insight into our activities - and into the industry as a whole - as an advantage.
We also want to show other companies that, in addition to being a socially conscious endeavour, working on CO2 emissions and energy improvements will have a positive effect on their results; it simply makes good business sense.
