Rapid Prototyping
If you need to see your product shaped during the development phase, rapid prototyping can be used for 3D-printing of the product. Rapid Prototyping uses three different techniques: SLS, Polyjet or SLA. Prototypes produced in these materials can be used as a design model. But if you need a prototype that can be used for physical tests, we cast the prototypes in a tool, where process and materials are the same as in the real product.

SLS:
SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) is produced in nylon powder (PA) using a laser beam which melts the powder together and builds up the model layer by layer.
Polyjet:
Polyjet is produced by an "ink-jet process," but instead of ink a thin beam of acrylic material is sprayed. The material is simultaneously cured using UV light. The model is built up layer by layer.
SLA:
SLA (stereolithography) is produced in a liquid which hardens by means of a laser beam. This also builds up the model layer by layer.
Investment Casting:
The Investment Casting process is perfect for the extremely rapid manufacturing of metal parts in aluminium, magnesium and zinc. Since there is great design freedom the Investment Casting process is perfect for casting parts that are complicated or impossible to cast with traditional casting methods.
The indicative timeframe for delivery of these items is approx. one week. For Investment Casting the delivery time is approx. 1-2 weeks.
