EPS Expanded PolyStyrene
Expanded Polystyrene is produced by foaming polystyrene. This is done by expanding small polystyrene beads to form a material with very low density and high thermal insulation properties. The crispness of the product can be reduced, and the impact resistance increased by mixing minute rubber particles into the polystyrene.
We offer four different EPS of densities from approx. 15 g / l to approx. 100 g / l:
- Polystyrene - a standard EPS with or without fire retardant (white)
- Peripor - an EPS with lower moisture absorption, with fire retardant (white)
- Neopor - an EPS with graphite, improved insulation, and fire retardant (grey)
- E-por - a special EPS with polyethylene, providing a high level of shock absorption and flexibility
