About your role and responsibilities

Your role will be driving a technical sales process towards primarily the production industry (most industry segments) – where technical consulting of customers' R&D teams is an important part of the sales process. The main responsibilities will be:

  • Convey Idé-Pro’s strategy/targets into a strategic plan for your Area and execute accordingly
  • Identify possible new customers and grow business with them
  • Lead RFQ / quotation / order process toward existing and potential new customers
  • Regular dialog and visits to customers / potential new customers / HQ in Denmark
  • Proactive cooperation with management, global sales team, and support teams

You take responsibility for fulfilling agreed targets for growth in your Area and lead Idé-Pro to be seen as a preferred partner for prototyping within the industry. Furthermore, you will build and maintain excellent cooperation with other relevant Idé-Pro locations and team members - so they can support you in achieving your goals.

You will be referring to the Area Sales Manager, Central Europe (located in HQ) and be located in the DACH region (initially working from home office – later Idé-Pro sales office in DACH region and/or home office).

About you  

You are motivated by growing business independently within an agreed frame – backed up by strong support from management and back office. You are experienced in technical sales in the foundry business, plastic industry, or other relevant industry segments involving prototypes by high pressure die casting or plastic injection moulding.

You have a natural drive to get the deal closed after having worked persistently with leads, RFQs, and quotations matching Idé-Pro’s strategy. As a person you are result-orientated, work with a structured and strategic approach, and are a self-driven team player. You have a good understanding of the industry and experience with technical drawings/3D files.
